
International Conference “Tax aspects for a global economy”
ADVOC – The international network of independent law firms – and the LSV Rechtsanwalts GmbH together with their cooperation partner DeutscheAnwaltAkademie were hosting the conference “Tax aspects for a global economy” on 27 September 2019 in Frankfurt am Main in Germany at the Grandhotel Hessischer Hof.
The participants had an inspiring event with highly up-to-date topics and internationally active speakers. They received many ideas for their work.

The speakers and their topics were:
Norman Wingen, Tax Advisor, Advisor at the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration at the OECD headquarters in Paris, will give an insight into the future development of tax law worldwide after the BEPS project has been completed and its results are now being implemented.
Dr. Sven-Eric Bärsch, Tax Advisor, Bonn/Frankfurt, Flick Gocke Schaumburg, reported on the latest developments in the field of transfer pricing.
Dr. Dirk Tassilo Wassen, Manager Ernst & Young GmbH, Stuttgart, Tax Technology and Transformation, Analytics, explained the technical aspects of Legal Tech and its application in the field of tax law for you.
The taxation of cross-border license agreements according to the BEPS project of the OECD is the subject of the fourth presentation to be given by Chris Walklett, International Tax Partner, Bishop Fleming, UK.
Members of the ADVOC Tax Practice Group gave a brief presentation on current developments in tax law in their country of origin (including corporate tax law).
