International Conference “Tax aspects for a global economy”

ADVOC – The inter­na­tion­al net­work of inde­pen­dent law firms – and the LSV Recht­san­walts GmbH togeth­er with their coop­er­a­tion part­ner DeutscheAn­wal­tAkademie were host­ing the con­fer­ence “Tax aspects for a glob­al econ­o­my” on 27 Sep­tem­ber 2019 in Frank­furt am Main in Ger­many at the Grand­ho­tel Hes­sis­ch­er Hof.

The par­tic­i­pants had an inspir­ing event with high­ly up-to-date top­ics and inter­na­tion­al­ly active speak­ers. They received many ideas for their work.

The speak­ers and their top­ics were:

Nor­man Win­gen, Tax Advi­sor, Advi­sor at the Cen­tre for Tax Pol­i­cy and Admin­is­tra­tion at the OECD head­quar­ters in Paris, will give an insight into the future devel­op­ment of tax law world­wide after the BEPS project has been com­plet­ed and its results are now being implemented.

Dr. Sven-Eric Bärsch, Tax Advi­sor, Bonn/Frankfurt, Flick Gocke Schaum­burg, report­ed on the lat­est devel­op­ments in the field of trans­fer pricing.

Dr. Dirk Tas­si­lo Wassen, Man­ag­er Ernst & Young GmbH, Stuttgart, Tax Tech­nol­o­gy and Trans­for­ma­tion, Ana­lyt­ics, explained the tech­ni­cal aspects of Legal Tech and its appli­ca­tion in the field of tax law for you.

The tax­a­tion of cross-bor­der license agree­ments accord­ing to the BEPS project of the OECD is the sub­ject of the fourth pre­sen­ta­tion to be giv­en by Chris Walk­lett, Inter­na­tion­al Tax Part­ner, Bish­op Flem­ing, UK.

Mem­bers of the ADVOC Tax Prac­tice Group gave a brief pre­sen­ta­tion on cur­rent devel­op­ments in tax law in their coun­try of ori­gin (includ­ing cor­po­rate tax law).
